More and less!
The dual channel D12 amplifier definitely goes that little bit further
by providing both analog and AES / EBU digital signal inputs with a sampling
rate of 48 or 96 kHz. Having digital inputs can lessen the number of A / D – D / A
conversions a signal goes through within the entire audio path, reducing the system latency
and increasing the sound quality. The D12 amplifier is also the universal controls for all
d&b audiotechnik loudspeakers and therefore lies at the very heart of d&b's
system concept: complete systems consisting of the control electronics, loudspeakers,
accessories and remote capabilities that are carefully integrated and aligned for acoustic and
mechanical compatibility. The resulting system flexibility makes the sound reinforcement
task simpler, more efficient and less costly, supporting the ultimate objective of equality of
sound to everybody in the audience. Discover even more about d&b audiotechnik systems and the
realisation of democracy for listeners by contacting your local
d&b partner.
